Privacy policy

What personal data this website collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. Last updated 9 October 2026.

Who we are

This website, conseptis.com, is run by CONSEPT Information Systems (“Conseptis”, “we”, “us”), Bangalore, Karnataka 560056, India. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, email inquiry@conseptis.com.

What we collect

We keep it simple: this website has no user accounts and no database. The only personal data we receive is what you send us through the contact form or the newsletter form. Contact messages reach us as an email; newsletter subscribers are kept on one private list.

When you contact us

The contact form asks for your name, work email and message, and optionally your company, phone number and a subject. The form sends these details to our team as an email; the website itself does not save them. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and to discuss the project or services you asked about.

When you subscribe to updates

The newsletter form adds your email address to a private subscriber list on our web server, which is not accessible from the internet. We use it only to send occasional news and guides from Conseptis. To unsubscribe at any time, use the unsubscribe link in any update or visit conseptis.com/unsubscribe; your address is removed from the list immediately.

When you browse the site

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read and how people find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects data such as pages visited, approximate location (city or country), device and browser type, and referring website. We do not use it to identify you personally. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Like most websites, our hosting server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser) to keep the site secure and working.

Spam protection

To stop automated spam, the forms use a simple question and limit how many messages can be sent from one connection. For this we store a one-way hash of your IP address with the times of recent submissions for up to one hour. We do not use it for any other purpose.

Why we use it (legal basis)

  • Your consent, when you submit a form or subscribe. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Legitimate uses such as replying to the enquiry you sent us, keeping the website secure and preventing spam.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, and only as needed:

  • our website hosting and email providers, which store and deliver form messages;
  • Google, for Google Analytics, for the map on our contact page and for the fonts used on this site;
  • authorities, if the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. We rely on their contractual and security commitments to protect it.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: the email stays in our mailbox for as long as we need it to respond and follow up. Ask us at any time and we will delete it.
  • Newsletter: your email address stays on the subscriber list until you unsubscribe, then it is deleted from the list straight away.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics keeps event data for the retention period set in our account (2 or 14 months), after which it is deleted.
  • Spam-protection records: up to one hour.

Cookies

This site does not set its own cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish visitors. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally without them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU and UK GDPR, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct or update it;
  • delete it;
  • stop using it for updates or other purposes you consented to.

Email inquiry@conseptis.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country, such as the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to enquiries is limited to the staff who need them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Children

This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
